Accounts

Start with install & login, then follow the steps for your account type.

Personal account

For your own purchases and bookings, directly or through an agent.

Your account includes a user profile. Once your email is verified, you can connect a payment method or start checkout. No separate user creation is needed.

Developer account

For an app or service that acts for customers. Your developer account manages users; it cannot run their checkouts.

Create a customer

From your developer profile, create one user per customer. Each user gets an independent key and payment connections.

shopstack users create --external-id customer-123 --profile customer-123

--external-id

Your customer’s ID in your app.

--profile

The local CLI profile name. The command saves the user key privately and selects this profile.

Switch customers

shopstack profiles list
shopstack profiles use customer-123

Check the active profile before checkout or connecting Link. To create another customer, first switch back to your developer profile.

shopstack signup developer --email EMAIL

Email verification

Both account types require email verification. Open the email link; the CLI saves your key privately. The verification page does not display it.
